Due the the drop of tourney matches being played the deadline is now set to Sunday 22nd of Feb. If you don't play your match by then a winner will be chosen.

Yes, we want your demos. We are planning a demo repository for the tournament so we are asking you to record all of your matches. So remember to enable automatic demo recording in your settings before connecting to a server. Additionally, if you are playing in warmup mode for more than 5 minutes it would be appreciated if you could restart the map or reconnect to the server (this will start recording a new demo file) to keep the demo file at a decent size and make it a more interesting viewing experience without having to fast forward. Because we did not announce this sooner, you are not required to upload demos from your Groupstage matches. But if you do/did record, the more demos we get, the better.

We think Tournaments are important in the history of a game. So if everyone sends in their demos, we can create a nice record of the tournament and future tournaments that can be kept online as long as possible.

Before uploading (I would suggest doing this right after you are done playing your matches), rename the files using this naming convention:

Player1_Player2_Stage_RoundX_Mapname.dem

Player1 = you
Player2 = your opponent
Stage = WB (Winner bracket) | LB (Loser bracket) | GS (Groupstage)
RoundX = Round (where X is the round number)

Example: Someguy_Somedude_WB_Round3_Aggressor.dem

You can upload your demos to this FTP:

Upload the files in this folder:
tourney.nexuizninjaz.com/demos/planetnexuiz.com/australia/1vs1/season1/
and then put it into either the group_stage or bracket_stage folder (depending on whether the match was in group stage or bracket stage).

After many weeks in the groups stage, we've finally emerged into the bracket stage. There was an error with the losers bracket, but now, thanks to zazu the problem has been resolved, many thanks.
